Matthew Daniel (Mateo), LMFT is an integrative therapist, coach, professor and group facilitator with over 25 years of experience in stress management, personal development, and wellness, and four years of dedicated clinical psychotherapy practice. He provides telehealth therapy throughout California and leads in-person groups and retreats in Southern California. Mateo works with adults, couples, and transitional-aged youth navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and relationship challenges. His client-centered, experiential approach integrates Jungian dreamwork, Family Systems, DBT, ACT, and somatic and mindfulness-based practices. Mateo specializes in men’s work, emotional intelligence, grief, ADHD, and psychedelic preparation and integration. Drawing from his background in the arts, somatic therapies, and spiritual traditions, Mateo is dedicated to fostering growth through authentic self-expression, community engagement and human wholeness.
